Sac County Conservation And Auburn Hometown Pride Partner For Earth Day Celebration On Monday

The Sac County Conservation Board and the Auburn Hometown Pride Committee invite area residents to join them at the beginning of next week for their Everyday is Earth Day celebration. Festivities will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 18 at Grant Park just northeast of Auburn with free activity bags and treats for kids in attendance. Participants will gather at noon for lunch at the United Presbyterian Church near the corner of Elm and 3rd Streets before heading back out at 1 p.m. to plant trees in the community. All ages are welcome to join in Monday’s activities, but organizers request people RSVP using the contact points included with this story on our website. Earth Day this year is officially scheduled for Friday, April 22.
