Next week, U.S. Senator, Chuck Grassley, will be making several stops in western Iowa, including a public town hall meeting in Crawford County. Grassley, who is now in the 42nd year of his annual 99-county tour, is scheduled to make his first stop on Tuesday, April 19 at the Pocahontas County Courthouse in Pocahontas from 1:15 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. to hear directly from constituents. Then on Wednesday, April 20, Grassley will host another town meeting in Denison from 1:45 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. at the Stables at Copper Ridge. He concludes his visit to the region in Monona County that afternoon from 3:45 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. at the Onawa Public Library. Grassley says, “You can’t have representative government without dialogue between elected officials and the people we represent. I appreciate the opportunity to hold town meetings, answer questions, and take comments. My annual 99-county meetings are one way I regularly keep in touch with Iowans to better represent them at the policymaking tables in Washington.” A list of the dates, times, and locations for Grassley’s town halls can be found included below.
