The Carroll County Foster Grandparents program is inviting area seniors to a meet-and-greet tomorrow (Tuesday) to learn how they can get involved with mentoring children at area schools, libraries, and daycares. Interested participants must be at least 55 years old and can earn additional monthly income through stipends, mileage reimbursements, and more through the program. Seniors can meet Foster Grandparents staff and current volunteers from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Carroll. Attendees can have any questions they may have answered, and pizza and refreshments will be provided.
