The Carroll Police Department reports officers recovered a stolen vehicle Friday afternoon in Carroll. At approximately 3 p.m., law enforcement received a call advising of a stolen vehicle located in the 900 block of High Ridge Road. Upon arrival, the car, which had been reported missing from Lafayette County, Wisc., was seized. Authorities also arrested 19-year-old Melanie Perez of Platteville, Wisc. For allegedly providing false information to officers during their investigation. Additional charges are pending further investigation.
