The Sac County Sheriff’s Office reports a third arrest has been made in connection to an ongoing investigation into recent burglaries in and around Lake View. Authorities served an arrest warrant for 33-year-old James Becker in the 200 block of E. Third Street in Wall Lake at approximately 2:35 p.m. on Monday. According to law enforcement, Becker is charged with two counts of third-degree burglary, ongoing criminal conduct, possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, failure to affix a drug tax stamp, and possession of narcotics in a drug-free zone. Becker is being held in the Sac County Jail on a $65,000 bond. The lake View Police Department assisted the Sac County Sheriff’s Office during the arrest. Two other men, 33-year-old Nicholas Bogue and 41-year-old John Bogue, Both of Lake View, Were arrested last week on similar charges in connection to the investigation.
