The Iowa Fourth District Republican Convention is scheduled for this weekend in Carroll and will feature former Vice President, Mike Pence, and Congressman, Randy Feenstra, as special guests. An estimated 300 delegates and more than 100 alternates will convene at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 23 at the Carroll High School to discuss the GOP’s values, hear from Republican candidates, and consider adjustments to the party’s platform. In a written statement, Pence says, “Congressman Randy Feenstra has been a champion for Iowa, his district, and the conservative movement. I look forward to joining Randy and meeting Republican delegates in the 4th District to discuss our shared conservative values and vision for Iowa’s future.” Feenstra and Pence are expected to serve breakfast to the delegates before the convention gets underway.
