The Lake City Council Looking To Publish All-City Information In A New Paper

The Lake City Council met Monday night with some main topics on their agenda: discussion on the Graphic-Advocate closing. City Administrator, Eric Wood says the paper’s last edition will be on May 4. He adds with the paper likely closing, they need a new place to send information for legal purposes.

Wood says the council voted to send all information to the Carroll Times Herold. He details what the council is required to publish in papers.

Wood adds this will go into effect if the Graphic-Advocate closes. The next Lake City Council meeting is scheduled for Monday, May 2, in the council chambers at 6:00 p.m.
