The Carroll Community School District (CCSD) Board of Education will meet Monday night for a scheduled work session in the board meeting room. Topics on the agenda include considering a funding request for Merchants Park from the City of Carroll, a work session for a preschool presentation, and a closed session for the superintendent evaluation. Superintended, Dr. Casey Berlau, says the city is asking for $10,000 to help with renovations and improvements to Merchants Park.
After the board discusses the funds for Merchants Park, they will go into a closed session under Iowa Code 21.5 to evaluate the professional competency of an individual whose appointment, hiring, performance, or discharge request a closed session. Berlau adds what they will go over in the closed session.
Monday’s meeting is open to the public, and the board will meet at 5:30 at Adams Elementary in the board room.
