FY22 Budget Amendment, Jail Change Order, And Merchants Park Grant Support On Monday’s Agenda For Carroll County Supervisors

The Carroll County Board of Supervisors has released the agenda for Monday’s regularly scheduled meeting. The board will open with a report from County Engineer, Zac Andersen, on pending utility permits and updates on the Secondary Roads Department’s ongoing projects. They will then move into discussions concerning personal protective equipment (PPE) storage and county support for Merchants Park improvements that may help the field receive tourism grants to cover a portion of those costs. At 9:30 a.m., the board will open a public hearing on a Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 budget amendment, followed by formal approval of the change. Supervisors will briefly consider tax suspension applications before opening a discussion on a lingering issue at the Carroll County jail’s IT room. The board closes with manure management annual updates and reports from committees. The Monday, May 2 meeting begins at 9 a.m. in the courthouse meeting room and is open to the public. It is also available online via live-streaming on the county’s YouTube channel. The full agenda can be found included with this story on our website.
