DMACC Carroll Campus Commencement Scheduled For May 9

Graduation season is almost upon us. One of the first educational institutions in the area to celebrate its graduates is Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC)—Carroll Campus. Commencement is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Monday, May 9 at Carroll High School (CHS) and will be the first in-person commencement since the class of 2019. Commencements in 2020 and 2021 were canceled due to the pandemic. Activities Board President, Amy Campbell of Lake City, will provide the welcome address. Phi Theta Kapa Beta XI member, Brianna Wuebker of Carroll, will give the student address, with Rev. John Pea, a former Carroll Campus English and speech professor, delivering the commencement address. Sixty-eight graduates are expected to attend the ceremony, which will be presided over by DMACC Carroll Campus Provost, Joel Lundstrom.
