Lake View’s 2022 Stone Pier Concert Series Opens A Month From Today

The 2022 Stone Pier Summer Concert Series in Lake View opens a month from today (Wednesday), and organizers are excited for the bands they have lined up for their 12th year of hosting the free concerts. Concerts are hosted on Black Hawk Lake’s iconic piers near Speaker Park. The first concert of the season is scheduled for Saturday, June 4 and features the Pork Tornadoes and Manson musician, Scott Kirkhart. The Independence Day weekend event, set for Sunday, July 3, has an expanded lineup with three acts scheduled to play: Red Clay Strays, Flying Buffaloes, and Brutal Republic. The Aug. 6 concert brings Kentucky folk band, Everette, and Texas-based Grady Spencer and the Work. The final Stone Pier Concert of the summer is Sunday, Sept. 4 with 49 Winchester’s southern rock style and Nashville singer/songwriter, Gabe Lee. Thanks to support from local businesses, the City of Lake View, the Lake View Community Club, and many private donors, these concerts are free to attend.
