Sac County Auditor, Jim Dowling, was honored by Secretary of State, Paul Pate. Dowling is the longest-serving current county auditor in the state and one of the longest-serving in Iowa History. Pate presented him with the National Association of Secretaries of State Medallion Award, recognizing individuals for more than 40 years of service. The award allows individual Secretaries of State to recognize outstanding service and dedication to furthering the mission of the NASS within the states. Pate made a stop in sac city to present Dowling with the award.
