The City of Glidden is changing how they handle city bills as residents will now have the option to pay utilities online. Individuals need to contact city hall to sign up for Front Desk, which gives you 24/7 access to your account to pay bills. City Administrator, Brooke Peterson, says this came up as they surveyed what residents have been asking for. She adds that this program is not just for excepting payments.
Another addition to the Front Desk system is they are adding an electronic form for residents who want to rent the Kruger Shelter House in Glidden
Peterson says that this system is currently live. She adds that the information sheet was sent out to residents in the most recent utility bill cycle, and the web browser provided in that letter has to be typed out exactly like it is on the sheet, or it will not work. Peterson went over what was on the letter.
Individuals with more questions on the new system or needing help signing up can contact city hall at 712-659-3010.
