Beginning tomorrow (Wednesday) Union Pacific Railroad contractors will temporarily block several crossings in Carroll for track maintenance. Roads will not be closed during these service times, but city officials advise motorists to plan for the potential of increased travel times. Work will begin on the west side of town at the Burgess Avenue crossing and move eastward. Other impacted intersections include Carroll Street, Main Street, Clark Street, Maple Street, Grant Road, and Bella Vista Drive. Construction is expected to wrap up by the end of this week.
