The Sac City Council met Tuesday night with items on their agenda, including a sanitary sewer improvement project, an airport runway lighting project, and setting a public hearing for the Fiscal Year 2022 budget amendment. City Administrator, Jaime Lawrence, says the sewer project was on the agenda so they could pass the final resolution to set up their interim financing. He adds that this gives them the money to pay the contractors for the project.
The council then moved to the airport runway lighting project. Lawrence says this project is all complete they were making a final payment authorization. The grant for the lights cost approximately $830,000. The last thing on the council’s agenda was setting a public hearing for the FY22 budget amendment. Lawrence details what the council is amending.
The next Sac City Council meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 24, at 5:00 p.m. in the Sac City Municipal Utility Building council chambers.
