The Carroll Community School District (CCSD) Board of Education met last night and gave an update on the driveway project at the high school. Superintendent, Dr. Casey Berlau, says bids for the proposed project have been reviewed.
The high school dismissed earlier this year to help get the parking lot cleared before Grant Road became busy after school. Berlau outlines the scope of each bid.
The board voted unanimously to award the bid to Ten Point Construction out of Denison for $184,824.22. Ten Point Construction believes they can get the project done before the 2022-2023 school year. The Construction company is already scheduled to do work in Carroll this summer. The next CCSD board meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 20, at Adams Elementary in the board meeting room.
