Results have come back from a recount vote that the Greene County Board of Supervisors approved last week for the District Three County Supervisor primary race. James Hedges submitted an application to the board to have a recount on the race. Hedges narrowly lost to Dan Benitz in the three-person primary 309 to 303. According to Greene County Auditor Jane Heun, Dan Benitz still came out on top after the recount by a vote of 310 to 303. The extra vote for Benitz came from a combination of people who voted early.
