No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision near Carroll High School (CHS) last night (Tuesday). The Carroll Police Department responded to the scene in the 2800 block of N. Grant Road at approximately 6:48 p.m. Their initial investigation found a 2016 Toyota Camry, driven by a 15-year-old male from Carroll, was traveling southbound on Grant Road. At the same time, a 2005 Toyota Prius, operated by a 14-year-old male from Carroll, was traveling northbound. The Prius’ driver attempted to turn left into the CHS parking lot and into the path of the Camry. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and needed to be towed from the scene. The 14-year-old driver was cited for failure to yield on a left turn.
