The Lake View City Council met last (Tuesday) night and again discussed the Hanson Street surfacing project. City Administrator, Scott Peterson, explains what part of the city they are considering.
He adds property owners in the area have expressed interest in putting a hard surface on the gravel road because of the traffic and dust that kicks up.
Peterson says the council did not vote on the project and just brought it up for discussion. He adds they brought up other options besides putting the hard surface down.
Peterson adds he is not sure if the topic will be brought up again at additional meetings. At the end of the meeting, the council entered a closed session per Iowa Code 20.17.3. The next Lake View City Council meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 19.
