The Glidden City Council met on Monday, and one of the main topics was to consider Independent Public Advisors letter of engagement as a municipal advisor. City Administrator, Brooke Peterson, says they have worked with this LLC since they started the wastewater plant project.

Peterson adds they are closing in on the end of the project, and as of right now, they have only taken out $2.9 million in loans for an estimated $5 million project.

Peterson says she has also asked the council to consider Independent Public Advisors as their municipal advisor.

She adds the council did approve having the LLC become financial advisors for the city. The next Glidden City Council meeting is scheduled for Monday, July 25, at 5:30 p.m. and is open to the public.
