Ambulance Service Request, Tax-Exempt Bonds On The Agenda For Carroll County Supervisors Monday

The Carroll County Board of Supervisors has released the agenda for its Monday, July 25 meeting. The board convenes at 9 a.m. in the supervisors’ meeting room at the courthouse and will open with a funding request from the Templeton Ambulance Service for a monthly rental allotment. Currently, the county provides $21,600 per year to the ambulance services in Breda, Coon Rapids, and Manning to help offset some of the cost of housing a rig in those communities. Templeton’s team is requesting $6,000 per year for the same purpose. The board will then review a zoning request from a property owner wishing to construct a home on a floodplain in Richland Township. County Engineer Zac Andersen will update county officials on utility permits and construction within the secondary roads department. The supervisors will then set a public hearing date on a request from St. Anthony Regional Hospital to sponsor tax-exempt bonding for the facility to be used on proposed capital improvements. The board closes with reports on the county’s substance abuse and prevention program, Fiscal Year 2023 auditing services, and public employee salary publication requirements. Monday’s meeting is open to the public and will be live-streamed via the county’s YouTube channel. The full agenda and details on how to watch remotely can be found included below.
