Penny Ann Akers, age 75, of Exira passed away on Wednesday, July 20th at the Exira Care Center in Exira.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 25th at 1:30 pm at the Exira Christian Church.
Visitation with family present will be held on Sunday, July 24th from 4 to 7 pm at the Kessler Funeral Home in Exira.
Penny is survived by her children: Paula Barringer, Troy Akers, Robyne (Chris) Poulsen; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; her sisters: Peggy (Dale) Hanke and Bobette (James) Taylor; and her mother, Cleone Bates.
Memorials may be directed to the family in honor of Penny. They will be designated at a later date to many of her favorite organizations.
