The City of Glidden is trying something new and hosting a Kick Ball Tournament at the ball fields. The event is on Sunday, August 14, starting at 11:00 a.m. This is a family-friendly event, so it must be coed, and kids are more than welcome to participate. The entry fee is $50 per team, and all the proceeds will go towards ballfield improvements. To enter the tournament, teams must register at city hall before Monday, August 8. There will be burger and hotdog meals for sale during the event, but individuals are asked to bring their beverages.
