Audubon City Council Looking At A New Sanitary Sewer Project At 7th Avenue

The Audubon City Council has set a public hearing date for a proposed sanitary sewer project. The public hearing will be in September to award the contract. City Clerk Joseph Foran says the project will take place on 7th Avenue.

Foran adds they are in the bidding process for the project. He says the preliminary cost is $145,990 and explains what construction will look like.

The project’s completion date is not set yet, and it is expected to be completed 180 days after it is awarded to a contractor. The next Audubon City Council meeting is scheduled for September 5 at 5:30 p.m. in City Hall.
