Main Street Coon Rapids is bringing a Circus to town later next week. The Culpepper and Merriweather Circus are returning to Coon Rapids on Tuesday, August 30, with two showtimes available. The first show is at 5:00 p.m. with the second show starting at 7:00 p.m. Individuals can buy their tickets in advance at Coon Rapids Municipal Utilities and the Main Street Coon Rapids office. Tickets in advance are $12 for adults, $7 for children ages two through twelve, and $7 for seniors. Ticket prices go up if bought the day of the event, with adults paying $15 and children and seniors paying $8. Box office tickets will go on sale one hour before each show starts. The performances occur in the parking lot at the corner of 6th Avenue and Railway Street in Coon Rapids.
