IKM-Manning struggled on offense, gave up a special teams touchdown and gave up a few big plays on defense, as they drop their season opener on the road. The Wolves played well on defense early, allowing their first points late in the 1st quarter. They trailed 7-0 at the end of the quarter and were only down 14-0 at half after the Viking scored on a deep pass just before half. The defense wore down in the 2nd half as the offense finished with 92 yards rushing and 32 yards passing. The Vikings used a 67-yard punt return early in the 3rd quarter to break the game open, jumping ahead 20-0 with 9:13 left. They added to their lead a few minutes later on a 17 yard pass. The final points were scored with 8:15 left in the game, giving AHSTW a 32-0 win.

Ben Langel led the Wolves with 28 yards rushing on 4 carries. Cooper Irlmeier had 23 yards rushing. Davis Rasmussen and Lane Sams each had 7 tackles to pace the Wolves.

IKM-Manning falls to 0-1. They host Westwood of Sloan next week on 93.7 KKRL.
