The City of Glidden is bringing a new event to town in October. City officials have decided to move forward with a Fall Festival on Saturday, October 1. City Administrator Brooke Peterson says this event will start at 3:00 p.m., and they are still trying to book some entertainment.
Peterson adds they are trying to make everything accessible, but there will be things participants have to pay for.
She says the festival will take an army of volunteers, and anyone wanting to help can contact the city office.
The festival is still in the early stages as it is over a month away. People interested in volunteering can call the city clerk’s office at 712-659-3010 or email Brooke@cityofglidden.org. Again, the Glidden’s Fall Festival will take place on Saturday, October 1.
