Yesterday (Tuesday), representatives from Western Iowa Networks and their partner company, Aureon Technology, presented a check to the Carroll Area Child Care Center and Preschool (CACCCP) to purchase new classroom monitoring equipment. WIN CEO Jeff Roiland and Aureon Account Manager JD Siebert delivered the $1,000 check through the Aureon Charity Grant. According to CACCCP Executive Director Keely Fara, the facility is using the grant to purchase additional iPads for the classrooms for use with the Procare software. The tablets, in conjunction with Procare, allow staff to provide updates on a child’s day, such as food intake, naps, behavioral issues, and more. Parents can then log on to their Procare account to know what is happening with their child at any point in the day. CACCCP has been using the software since last November, but the new equipment should provide more updated information for parents.
