Menlo Woman Uninjured In Single-Vehicle Rollover Near Panora

A Menlo woman was fortunate to avoid serious injury following a single-vehicle rollover accident late last week south of Panora. According to the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office, an off-duty deputy heard what sounded like a traffic collision on Wagon Road at approximately 4:51 p.m. last Thursday. The deputy traveled to the scene just west of 248th Trail and discovered a 2004 Chevrolet Impala on its top in the ditch. The driver, identified as 66-year-old Joan Lyla Anderson of Menlo, was found still inside the vehicle by the deputy and assisted out of the totaled car. Guthrie County Emergency Medical Services examined Anderson at the scene and treated her for minor injuries. Authorities note it is unclear what initially caused the vehicle to leave the roadway.
