Individuals in Carroll County will have the opportunity to learn all about Monarchs with Carroll County Conservation this weekend. There are two programs, one at Swan Lake State Park in Carroll and the other is at Great Western Park in Manning. Naturalist Kristen Bieret explains what will take place during both programs.
Bieret will be in Manning first, starting at 10:00 a.m. and back at Swan Lake at 1:00 p.m. Each event will be an hour long and is free and open to the public.
She adds that no pre-registration is required, and individuals can show up and learn about Monarch. For more information on both programs, individuals can contact Carroll County Conservation at 712-792-4614.
