The Sac City Council provides updates on three projects currently underway in town or expected to start soon. At Tuesday’s meeting, the council discussed the Sac City sanitary sewer improvement project, street crack sealing, and the conger development project. City Administrator Jamie Lawrence says they paid Bainbridge Construction LLC for their work on the sewer improvement project at the meeting, and Lawrence adds they are not finished yet.
The council paid the company $85,586.93. They then moved to set a public hearing to open bids on a street crack sealing project. Lawrence says bids should be opened sometime in October. The last project the council discussed was the Conger Development Project.
He adds that the city owns the property and will sell it so individuals can build homes. The next Sac City Council meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 27, and is open to the public.
