Availa Bank is inviting local high school students, parents, and families to an informational seminar tomorrow (Tuesday) night to help guide them through the arduous process of applying for and preparing for education after high school. Availa Bank’s College Night begins at 7 p.m. in the Harold Bierl Community Room in the Chamber Depot. Marketing Director Lisa Irlbeck says they will cover a wide range of topics during the approximately 90-minute session, from applying for financial aid to campus safety. The scheduled program for Tuesday’s College Night includes a slate of speakers who will answer some of the most common questions from students and parents, and there will be time between speakers for additional questions from attendees. According to Irlbeck, the seminar is not a come-and-go event, and participants should plan to stay for the entire presentation.
She adds interest in Availa Bank’s College Night has grown by leaps and bounds since the first year they hosted College Night, and students and families from the area are encouraged to attend.
Irlbeck says those interested in attending are asked to RSVP by noon on Tuesday by calling 712-792-3567 due to space limitations.
