Glidden City Officials Have Changed The First And Second Readings To An Ordinance Regarding All-Terrain Vehicles

Glidden City Officials have slightly changed the first and second readings regarding all-terrain vehicles within city limits. At Monday’s meeting, the Glidden City Council addressed some slight changes to ordinance 2022-01, and city Administrator Brooke Peterson says not much has changed.

Peterson adds a golf cart does not qualify as an all-terrain vehicle, so anyone with one still has to follow the same rules and pay $20 for a sticker. Peterson says they must have three separate readings whenever an ordinance is changed.

The ordinance change goes into effect right away. Anyone with any questions is asked to contact the City Clerk’s Office at 712-659-3010. The next Glidden City Council meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 10.
