District 4 Carroll County Supervisor and Board Chair Stephanie Hausman is nearing the end of her first term in office and is running unopposed for reelection. Hausman was elected to the Carroll County Board of Supervisors in 2018, and she says the last four years have been an eye-opening and rewarding experience.
Hausman says some big decisions are ahead for the board of supervisors, such as the courthouse remodel/HVAC project and growing concerns about the county’s secondary roads. She says these choices will affect county residents for years to come, and Hausman wants every community to be involved in the decision-making process.
Hausman adds that serving as a supervisor has also allowed her tremendous opportunities, such as meeting former President Donald Trump in the Oval Office and roundtables with Gov. Kim Reynolds on issues important to Carroll County residents. While her name will be the only one on the ballot for District 4 Supervisor come Nov. 8, Hausman says she still wants to earn the votes she receives.
Hausman will participate in the Carroll Chamber of Commerce’s Candidate Forum scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 12 at the Carroll High School Auditorium. The forum is open to the public and will also be broadcast over 1380 AM/95.1 FM KCIM and the Carroll Broadcasting YouTube and Facebook pages.
