Wednesday marked the beginning of Iowa’s absentee in-person voting period for the Nov. 8 midterm elections. To vote, simply visit your county’s auditor’s office or satellite location and be ready to provide your name, date of birth, address, and driver’s license or voter ID number. Early voting is available through Monday, Nov. 7. Iowans who have requested absentee ballots by mail must return them to their county auditor’s office no later than 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8. Those wishing to vote on Election Day must vote in their designated precinct. The Iowa Secretary of State’s Office has a simple-to-use polling location finder on its website at sos.iowa.gov. A link to that tool is also included below.
