Early Voting In Carroll County Tops 1,800 Ballots Seven Days Before Election

The Carroll County Auditor’s Office reports they have already received over 1,800 absentee ballot requests with just a week remaining before Election Day. Of the 1,842 requests as of this (Tuesday) morning, 931 were for vote-by-mail ballots and 912 for in-person absentee voting. Just under 90 percent of the requested ballots, or 1,614, have already been returned so far. The deadline to request mailed ballots has passed, but individuals still wishing to vote early can do so by visiting the Carroll County Auditor’s Office. Mailed ballots must be returned to the respective county auditor’s office no later than 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8. For more information, visit voterready.iowa.gov.
