Senator Joni Ernst’s staff will begin holding traveling office hours this week in the listening area. Ernst’s staff will be available to assist Iowans with problems or issues regarding Social Security, veterans’ benefits, military affairs, passport concerns, immigration challenges, or any other federal program. Ernst says, “I want every Iowan to know when they are in need of assistance, my office is here to help. Members of my team will be available to help in person in all 99 counties this November, so please stop by when they are in your area.” Her staff’s first stop in the listening area is scheduled for this (Tuesday) morning at the Audubon Public Library from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. They will be in Calhoun County later today at city hall in Rockwell City from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. The Carroll and Crawford County stops are slated for tomorrow (Wednesday), Nov. 16 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Carroll Chamber of Commerce Depot and 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at Schleswig City Hall. The final three visits locally are on Nov. 29, beginning in Sac County at Lake View City Hall from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Staff will be in Greene County at the courthouse in Jefferson from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and finish in Guthrie County at the courthouse in Guthrie Center from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sen.
