Lawrence Kitt, 80 of Carroll, died Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Addington Place in Carroll.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, December 3, 2022, at the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll. Officiating will be Fr. Patrick Behm. Casket Bearers will be Jeff Kitt, Scott Kitt, Eric Kitt, Tom Loew, Dave Loew, and Chris Ward. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Carroll with military honors conducted by the Carroll American Legion.
Visitation will be held at the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll from 1 p.m. on Saturday until time of the funeral service. Following the burial, a luncheon will be served in the Sharp Center.

Born on November 25, 1942, in Carroll, Iowa, Lawrence was the son of Henry and Lucy (Klocke) Kitt. He attended Holy Angels School, Sts. Peter and Paul School and later graduated from Kuemper Catholic High School. Following his schooling, Larry served in the United States Air Force for 4 years. He then moved to Minneapolis where he resided the majority of his life while working in the steel fabrication business. As his health began to fail, he returned to Carroll and was a resident at Addington Place in Carroll where he died on Wednesday. Larry enjoyed bowling, golfing, traveling and photography.
Larry is survived by his siblings: Mary Jane (Larry) Loew of Carroll, Dennis (Betty) Kitt of Denison, Don Kitt of Carroll, Paul (JoAnn) Kitt of Des Moines, Mike (Mary Lou) Kitt of Carroll, and Patty (Bruce) Landing of Orlando, FL; his sister-in-law, Ione Kitt of Ft. Dodge; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.
His parents, Henry and Lucy Kitt, and his brother, Jerry Kitt, preceded him in death.
