The Carroll Community School District (CCSD) is introducing a new event for business and community leaders to stay informed on educational programs, activities, and more in the local school. The “State of the District” presentation will be Friday, Dec. 9 in the James and Marjorie Knott Commons at the Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) Carroll Campus. Attendees will be treated to breakfast and refreshments beginning at 6:30 a.m., with the hour-long presentation from Superintendent Dr. Casey Berlau and school officials to start at 7 a.m. CCSD’s State of the District is an invitation-only event. However, Berlau will join 1380 AM/95.1 FM KCIM live on Tuesday, Dec. 13 at 8 a.m. to share highlights from the presentation with stakeholders.
