The Carroll County EMS Association is excited to announce they have a new way to show appreciation for local first responders. According to the Association’s Vice President, Kristen Nehring, supporters can now easily send donations using the group’s Venmo account, @CarrollCountyEMS. Nehring notes the timing is excellent as traffic picks up at the association’s Festival of Lights fundraiser at Swan Lake State Park. From 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. each night through Dec. 25, the park is lit with thousands of lights on Christmas-themed displays. At the end of the route, participants are asked to make a freewill donation to the Carroll County EMS Association to help area departments with equipment purchases and training.
