Cheryl “Cheri” K. Collison, age 68, of Carroll died Friday, December 16, 2022 at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska.
Funeral services will be held at Sharp Funeral Home on Tuesday December 27 at 11am. Visitation will be held from 10-10:45a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to Animal Rescue of Carroll.

Cheri was born in 1954 in Carroll to Wilbur “Burt” Klocke and Louise (Masching) Klocke. Cheri attended Kuemper where she met her future spouse, Mark Collison.
Following marriage, Cheri and Mark resided in Omaha, Nebraska and Des Moines, Iowa, and had three children, Jason, Jeremy, and Amy. Cheri was a talented musician on both flute and piano, played tennis, and gardened. In 1998, following a significant medical event and divorce, Cheri returned to Carroll to reside with her loving parents.
Cheri’s mother continued to care for her over the following 24 years and the strength of their connection could not be overstated. Together they attended church, went out for pizza, took walks, and played with their cat.
Cheri is survived by her mother, Louise, and her children, Jason, Jeremy, and Amy.
