The 39th Annual Friends of Kuemper Ball theme was announced this evening (Wednesday) as “A Knight in Black and White.” This year’s ball is chaired by Dave and Carly Pedelty, Shane Vaughan and Sarah Zimmerman, Matt and Stacie Tonniges (TON-YES), and Jess & Stephanie Hausman. Vaughan explains how they landed on this year’s theme.

The theme was submitted by students from the sixth-grade class: Cassie Lohrmann, Alexa Schreck, Madelyn Kerkhoff, and Ella Heithoff. The ball is scheduled for Saturday, April 29 at the Kuemper Fieldhouse and includes all of its hallmarks: a catered meal, the Ag and Vehicle Raffles, a live auction, and more. Pedelty says they have something new planned for the ball this year.

Again, the ball is scheduled for Saturday, April 29 at the Kuemper Fieldhouse. Since 1985, the Kuemper Ball has raised over $12 million for the parochial school to support tuition assistance, technology improvements, teacher salary enhancements, curriculum development, and capital improvements. Ball donations, raffle tickets, and more information on the 39th annual Friends of Kuemper Ball are available through Kuemper’s website at www.kuemper.org.
