Audubon County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Illinois Man In Connection To July 2022 Human Trafficking Investigation

An Illinois man faces felony charges in Audubon County District Court in connection to a human trafficking investigation launched in July 2022 by local law enforcement. According to the Audubon County Sheriff’s Office, 23-year-old Hunter Dale Gregory of Mt. Vernon, Ill., was taken into custody last week at the Clarinda Correctional Facility, where he is currently serving a seven-year sentence for willful injury causing serious injury and felony domestic abuse convictions. Authorities allege Gregory and another man, 35-year-old Bryan Ray Dunn of Brayton, had forced the victim to perform sex acts on camera under threat of violence on July 11, 2022. Both men have been charged with second-degree sexual abuse, a class B felony, and human trafficking resulting in serious injury, a class C felony. Gregory remains in custody at the Clarinda Correctional Facility, and Dunn is being held in the Audubon County Jail.
