Kuemper Catholic Schools is hosting a town hall meeting at the high school tomorrow (Thursday) to provide updates to community members. According to Marketing & Enrollment Director Erin Sundrup, the event will be on Thursday, March 2, starting at 6:00 p.m. in the high school gym. Sundrup says there will be five areas from the strategic plan school officials will highlight.
Sundrup adds the program should be approximately an hour. Another topic up for discussion is the introduction of education savings accounts (ESA). ESA is a state-funded account for private schools to help support the success of kindergarten through twelfth-grade students. The bill, which was signed into law in January, establishes a framework and funding for savings accounts that may be used for families to cover tuition, fees, and other qualified educational expenses. Sundrup says anyone with questions about ESA is encouraged to attend.
Sundrup adds that the town hall is open for anybody wanting to see what Kuemper Catholic School can offer new or current students. After the event, individuals in attendance are encouraged to go to the cafeteria to have their questions answered. Again, the town hall is coming up tomorrow (Thursday), March 2, at the Kuemper High School gym.
