Lake City Residents Are Invited To Meet The City Administrator And Police Chief At The Community Building

Lake City officials invite members of the public to an open house tomorrow (Tuesday) evening to meet the town’s new administrator, Jacob Matthews, and bring any concerns they have to community leaders’ attention. The town hall begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Lake City Community Building. According to Administrator Jacob Matthews, this is an opportunity for residents to meet with Matthews and Police Chief Dan Shaffer and have an open conversation about what they see as challenges in Lake City.

Matthews says residents should consider the town hall a two-for-one. They get to meet city officials and have their voices heard.

Matthews notes questions do not need to be submitted in advance. The event is more of a come-and-go style gathering, and attendees will have the opportunity for one-on-one conversations with city officials. Again, the town hall starts at 7:00 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday) and runs till 8:30 p.m. at the Lake City Community Building.
