Organizers of the popular Stone Pier Concert Series in Lake View are already looking forward to warmer weather with the announcement of the band lineup for the coming season’s shows. The series is held the first weekend of each month throughout the summer in June, July, August, and September. A 70s tribute band, PetRock, headlines the season’s opening show on Saturday, June 3. Dustbowl Revival and J & the Causeways take the stage for the Independence Day weekend concert on Saturday, July 1. The August 5 show features McKinley James with special guests, the Ronley King Blues Band and Buckmiller/Schwager. The Stone Pier Concert Series closes the season on Saturday, Sept. 3 with Tanner Usrey and Kendall Marvel. The free outdoor concert series is entering its 13th year in 2023 thanks to generous support from local residents and businesses.
