At last week’s Sac City Council meeting, officials provided updates about planned work on multiple roads in town. According to City Administrator Jamie Lawrence, the proposed work will not appear on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 budget and will instead be added to FY25. Lawrence adds that the work is mainly overdue repairs, and the council is considering five separate areas within city limits.
Lawrence notes the issues vary throughout the five locations.
He adds there will be no bids for the proposed work. Everything will be done internally with a budget of approximately $150,000. Each location will be done at a different time during the summer of 2024.
