IKM-Manning Voters Unofficially Pass a $7.9 Million Revenue Bond

Voters in the IKM-Manning School District have passed a $7.9 million tax revenue bond by a wide margin. Unofficial results show that 1,609 total ballots were cast in Tuesday’s special election with 1,146 individuals voting in favor and 463 opposed.  The bond passed with strong support from Carroll County with nearly 95 percent of voters supporting the bond. However, support was less prevalent in the district’s other three counties. Carroll Broadcasting will bring you more from Superintendent Trevor Miller in upcoming newscasts. Results of the IKM-Manning bond referendum will remain unofficial until canvassed by the respective county boards of supervisors and approved by the Shelby County Board of Supervisors, which serves as the control county for the IKM-Manning District.
