Lake View city officials are looking to update sections of concrete near Black Hawk Lake before the summer season officially kicks off. According to City Administrator Scott Peterson, members voted at Monday’s city council meeting, to start the bid process for a concrete project at the mini golf course by Camp Crescent. Peterson notes the course has been around for nearly two decades, and no revisions have been made to the concrete in that time. The contractor would rip up most of the surface and replace it with new. Peterson says they are early in the bid process, so city officials are uncertain how long and how much the project will cost. The public hearing for bid openings is expected to appear at the next city council meeting on March 20.
