The Carroll Chamber of Commerce’s and Carroll County Growth Partnership’s (CCGP) next legislative forum will be held tomorrow (Saturday) at the Warren Timmerman Shelter House in Manning. District 6 Senator Jason Schultz of Schleswig and District 12 Representative Brian Best of Glidden are both scheduled to attend. The program will begin promptly at 10 a.m. with a brief introduction from each legislator before they answer questions prepared by the Chamber/CCGP’s Legislative Committee. If time allows, attendees will then be permitted to ask questions of Best and Schultz on topics of interest to them. Only one other legislative forum remains for the 2023 session, and that is scheduled for Saturday, April 22, hosted by the Iowa Corn Growers at a site yet to be determined.
